All slat hems must be of same color as rest of shade, both inside and out. Duopak - Same as Triopak II, except add sentence reading: "All slat hems must be same color as rest of shade, both inside and out." Vuetex - Vinyl coated polyester yarn, woven into a basketweave mesh. Wt. 20 oz./sq. yd., .03" thick. Flame retardant. 63" and 84" roll width. Approx. 5% open. SheerWeave 3000 - Vinyl coated fiberglass and vinyl coated polyester woven into a 63x15 mesh. Wt. 14.8 oz./sq. yd., .027" thick. Flame retardant. 72" roll width. Approx. 13% open. Spring-Roller Operated Shades See above for fabric specification. Rollers - Institutional quality one-piece steel roller, 1 1/4" dia., with heavy-duty springs and locking endcaps. Slats - Hard maple, smooth and thoroughly seasoned, 7/8", 1 1/4", or 1 1/2", at manufacturer's discretion. Pine slats not acceptable. Cord - Hard braided cotton, size #4 1/2, attached to slat by #211 screweye and cord clasp. Eyelets not acceptable. Hems - Shades hemmed top and bottom. All hems double-needle stitched and backstitched. Hems turned so that stitching passes through three thicknesses of fabric. (Mesh fabrics have heat seamed slat hems, and no roller hems.) Brackets - Plated steel, with adequate projection to clear all window fixtures. Dimensions - Shades to fit windows with maximum protection from light streaks. Bead Chain Clutch Operator - High carbon steel and molded fiberglass-reinforced polyester. Bi-directional, can be mounted at either end of the roller (Right side standard). Control loop, of any length, is provided in plastic or nickel plated brass bead chain. Plastic chain available in ivory (standard), grey, and black. Clutch units never need adjusting. Endcaps - Optionally available for use with fascia. 1018 steel stamping. 3 1/4" x 3 3/4". Complete with roller mounting bracket of aluminum or plated steel. Installs to face, ceiling, or jamb. Silver, ivory, dark bronze, black, or white baked enamel finish. Fascia - Optional L-shaped cover available to fit any Techmatic shade. Snugfold Folding Shades See above for Colony fabric and hem specifications. Slats - Fabric hemmed around 5/8" x 2 1/2" hard maple slat at top. Three intermediate slats to be 5/16" x 1 1/4" hard maple enclosed in faced-on fabric pockets. Pockets stitched top and bottom to minimize weight on stitching. Bottom slat to be 5/16" x 1 1/4" hard maple enclosed in hem with uniform color on exterior of shade. Stays - Three intermediate spring steel stays enclosed in stitched pockets for uniform folding of shade and additional stability when shade is down. Cord - Operating cord must be color coordinated with shade color. Cord to be #7 1/2 hard braided polypropylene. Pulleys & Cord Locks - Shade operated by cord and pulley system. Cord locks and pulleys of 16 ga. stamped steel, brass-tone zinc plated for rust resistance, with self-lubricating nylon marine pulley wheels not less than 1 1/2" diameter. 2 independent automatic cord locks for reliable operation, both housed in pulley frame, allow shade to be stopped at any height. Valance - Matching 6" cloth valance sewn to main body of shade at top. Valance supported by continuous 5/16" x 1 1/4" maple slat resting on zinc plated "L" angles attached to top slat. Bottom of valance hemmed around a second 5/16" x 1 1/4" hard maple slat for stability and even appearance. General Conditions 1. Each bidder is responsible for his own measurements. 2.
